Title: Events Manager
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 3-4 Months (October 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025)
Pay Rate: $45/hr on W2
Job Description –
Assist with the implementation and management of registration modules using tools like Rainfocus to ensure seamless registration experiences.
Support the Registration Operations workstream for assigned events, including the end-to-end registration process from requirement gathering to on-site execution.
Work closely with internal teams, such as housing, event technology, creative, and demand generation, to assist in successful registration deployment.
Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to help with the configuration, testing, and launch of registration on the event platform.
Coordinate logistics related to the registration and badge pickup experience in collaboration with partner teams, vendors, and agencies.
Assist in managing the Registration Operations timeline, ensuring alignment with event deadlines and deliverables.
Regularly communicate with team members and provide updates on registration operations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, including data privacy and event communications.
Maintain documentation and support the team with any necessary tasks.
Travel on-site as required to assist in event execution and ensure a positive registration experience.
Required Skills:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of event management experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with event management platforms; experience with Rainfocus or similar platforms is a plus.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and support projects with various stakeholders.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external partners.
Adaptability: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage shifting priorities, and handle last-minute changes with ease.
Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to address challenges and support smooth operations
Self-Motivation: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, while managing workload efficiently and meeting deadlines.
